ODA3.Academy should be usable by everyone who takes our courses, including people who use assistive technology.
1. Our target
We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA for this site and for course materials we produce.
2. What we have done
- Every page has a skip link, headings in order and visible keyboard focus.
- Menus, filters and forms work with a keyboard, and every form field has a label.
- Text and interface colours were chosen for contrast. Pages reflow to narrow screens without sideways scrolling.
- Recorded video will have captions, and slides will be provided in an accessible format.
3. Known limitations
- An independent accessibility audit has not yet been carried out. We will publish its results and any fixes here.
- Pages provided by other services may not fully meet our target. These include payment pages (Razorpay, Cashfree, PayPal), the video platform used for live sessions, and PDF certificates.
- Some labs use third-party tools with their own accessibility limits. Each course page will say which tools a lab uses.
4. Adjustments for learning and assessment
If you need an adjustment, such as extra time or an alternative format, use the reasonable adjustment request form. Ask at least 10 business days before the assessment if you can. We reply within 5 business days, and the details are kept confidential.
5. Report a problem
If something on the site does not work for you, tell us through the help page or at contact@oda3.org. Please say which page and what assistive technology you use. We acknowledge reports within 2 business days.
